Magnificent view from the windows of the mountains and lake. The multi-level house, costing approximately 3.5 million, is an excellent place for the whole family to relax.

The house was clean and has very nice view, walking distance to the city. However, house was not stocked well. Overall, our experience was great!

The location is perfect with its gorgeous views but also away from the congested inner city streets. Quirky multi level house but can accommodate many people easily.

Nice apartment except if can provide us some kitchen towels would be ideal. The washing machine, dish washer and ovens are easy to operate. Love the surroundings, very serene. Thank you for your nice place to stay. Overall it is good. Appreciate it!

Had a wonderful time staying in Allan’s beautiful accomodation! Only downside was there wasn’t any shampoo, conditioner or soap provided. Travelling with those can be inconvenient and we thought it would be provided at the accomodation but instead bought our own. Really lovely accomodation, stunning views and relatively short walk into town.

We loved staying at Allan’s place. It was the perfect size for 6 of us, a lovely, easy walk into Central Queenstown and the views were stunning. The house had a new bathroom, new carpet and was extremely clean. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for hosting us Goodstays.

I highly recommend this house. The views were incredible, easy walking distance into town, spacious and warm. The house was clean, neat and tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very prompt in replying to any questions and super easy to deal with. I would definitely book here again.

Awesome location to walk into town centre. Lovely views. Very comfortable beds, and hotel type linen. Although the house was older, it was very clean. Worked well for 8 adults.

We had a great stay. Good stays had good communication too. Despite one neighbour was unhappy that the property was an air bnb and enjoyed making complaints about noise etc, I would happily stay here again. Great location, clean and tidy.

Sauberkeit und allgemeinem Zustand des Hauses ist Luft nach oben, z.b. klemmen Schubladen, Schranktüren -Preis ist schon sehr hoch, aber in Queenstown ist das Preisniveau gefühlt insg. höher als z.b. in Wanaka

Excellent property in an awesome location. Incredible views over the lake. Walking distance to town (one hill on the way back gets you every time). Property had all the facilities we (as a group of 8) needed. Would recommend staying at this property and dealing with Airbnb. Only issue was dealing with Goodstays as the property managers. We had an issue one night and when we contacted the supplied emergency contact, we were dismissed and no help was offered or forthcoming. Lucky Airbnb were so helpful. We contacted them and our issue was sorted. Especially thankful to Jamie for all her help. John & Family.

Wonderful location to town, views, Lake walk to town. Comfortable, family spaces. Warm home. We had a wonderful stay and great first visit to Queenstown.

Fantastic Location 10-15min from town walking. Incredible views from the whole house. Lots of space and cooking in the kitchen with the mountains was amazing! House was super warm even in winter with snow. Loved it!

Stunning views from 3 of the 4 double bedrooms, kitchen, dining & living room. Great location for walking or cycling to town or other destinations. Private, sunny, sheltered outdoor spots for an afternoon siesta. House itself clearly a few years old but spotless & perfect for a getaway.

Really enjoyed the large living room with 5 sofas, excellent for a group of 7-8 people. Beautiful views over the lake. The single beds in twin rooms were very narrow so better for children than adults. Well equipped in general but the extra fridge door seal needs to be repaired - had to wedge it shut with a box of beers!

We have 5 children and this house easily accommodated us all. The property was clean and tidy. It's not ultra modern but suited us fine. Only a 10 minute walk to town so very convenient. The heating was efficient and the house remained warm.

The Lake house was bigger than expected & great for our family stay. The booking team were exceptional in meeting our requirements for the extras like cots, high chair, safety gate. Great views excellent location and good value.
There was a renovation next door that we could have done without , but didn’t bother us too much .

Well appointed in an ideal location. Far enough out of the heart of Queenstown but easily reachable by a great walk around the lake or through the park. Superb views with a great verandah for relaxing. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommended

My only gripe is that the internet connection was not up to scratch - it could not comfortably stream netflix. this is not acceptable.

OVERALL , IT IS IN A GREAT LOCATION CLOSE TO TOWN WITH PARKING FOR 2 CARS. ITS ON A CUL DE SAC IN PRIVATE AREA.
THE HOUSE HAS WONDERRFUL AMENITIES BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN CHALLENGES. THE MAJOR BEING TRASH ALOCATION OF 2 BAGS FOR YOUR ENTIRE STAY.
THE HOUSE NEEDS TRASH & RECYCLING BINS WHICH ARE NOT PROVIDED. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BE
PROVIDED BY OWNERS.
IN ADDITION, HEATERS WERE NOT WORKING IN BATHROOMS UPSATIRS, SOME DOORS SQUEEKED(MASTER BEDROOM) AND NO DISH TOWELS/POTHOLDERS PROVIDED
IN THE KITCHEN.
HAVING SAID ALL THIS, I DEFINITELY WOULD RENT THE HOUSE AGAIN, HOPEFULLY WITH THESE IMPROVEMENTS.

Spacious property with great views across the lake from the front of the house. We only stayed 3 nights so didn't really use the kitchen but all facilities in good order

It is often difficult to get the accommodation right when booking from overseas. Often the photos and location can be somewhat exaggerated.
However The Lakes Edge property delivered as promised. Handy location, good bedding and sleeping options for our crew of 7. Plenty of space to relax along with a well appointed Kitchen. The cul-de-sac street is also a bonus.
The Lakes Edge will be top of the list for accommodation next year - thanks Goodstays.

This house has incredible views looking down Lake Wakatipu and to the Remarkables. There is a deck that we sat on every evening with a wine and soaked in the views. The house is tidy and spacious with all the ammenities you need. The location is an easy walk (15 minutes) in to town - especially as was walking with a pram- thru the Queenstown Gardens. Many places 'close' to town require you to walk up a huge hill, this is not the case at The Lakes Edge. Perfect spot as the neighbourhood is peaceful with no noise issues. Good Stays were professional to deal with at all stages in the booking. We had one hiccup on arrival where we were missing the mattress to the portacot we had organised and they delivered in within a couple of hours. We were traveling with my two young kids and Good Stays helped to organise a high chair and portacot which was really helpful. There are lots of stairs and glass tables so not overly kid friendly but think you will come across that in any holiday rental. Thanks for an amazing holiday!

Family get together (9 people) had great time.Excellent location 15 minute stroll into city centre. Helpful to be able to park three cars on/off site.

We had a big group of mountain bikers and it fit us, gear and plenty of showers. Was very clean and they let us use the garage for the whole day we checked out for the bikes. The view was stunning, all in all 5 stars

Really nice location , clean tidy house and catered for our family well.

The house was very lovely however during our stay we had a few issues we had to phone the manager about, he was extremely rude and unhelpful, I am unsure why this man works in tourism as when ever he answered the phone he was extremely unwilling to take our call and had no interest in helping us what's so ever. It was a really lovely house and we had a great time however wouldn't return here if I had to deal with gwen again.
