Set just a stone’s throw from the lake in the newly built Residence du Lac, Steps to the Lake is both modern, bright, and conveniently placed between the town centre and Frankton. This apartment is the perfect base for couples or small families heading to Queenstown.
Start by arriving at your own personal off-street parking right outside the apartment. Walk inside to the impressive open plan living, dining and full kitchen. In the warmer months, open all the doors and utilise the large balcony. Enjoy a glass of local wine whilst you gaze out at the impressive Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains.
For the more adventurous or those not choosing to drive or hire a car, you have the Frankton Arm walking track below the apartment that runs alongside the lake. A popular trail for locals to use both by foot and bike which can take you around the corner to the marina where you can grab breakfast or should you choose to walk into town, it will take approximately 45 minutes with options of public transport to return.

There are also nearby local’s favourites – The Sherwood bar & restaurant across the road, and the Boatshed cafe not far along the Queenstown Trail towards Frankton.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.
