ROCHE STREET CENTRAL PROPERTY SUMMARY:
Situated in the heart of Wanaka you can find this contemporary alpine apartment perched on an elevated site with stunning mountain and lake views.

LOCATION:
It's all in the name! This property is located only a stone's throw from the centre of Wanaka, in less than 5 minutes walk you can be stocking up on groceries at New World or sipping on a coffee at one of Wanaka's many cafes.

KITCHEN AND LIVING AREAS:
The light and airy lounge area is well equipped with a large LCD HD TV and DVD player and the kitchen is fully equipped. Two heat pumps keeps the house toasty warm even on the coldest winter days. Sliding doors from the lounge and dining areas open on to decks with outdoor setting and BBQ. One deck is on the east side of the house and is great for a morning coffee and the other faces west with views of the mountains.

BEDROOMS:
The house is on 2 levels with 3 bedrooms, bathroom and garage downstairs and an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, master bedroom and en suite upstairs. The bedding configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 4: 2 Singles

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

The house was extremely well presented, very comfortable and in an excellent location for all of the local amenities. The booking and associated admin was very efficient with the support staff on the ground being available and very pleasant in providing answers and solutions to our immediate requirements. An excellent experience overall.

House was clean, comfortable and great location. We were missing a few items like bins liners and laundry powder, we also only had 2 channels on the tv, however we had a great stay with our group of friends.

Very good. We enjoyed the big table to sit around for two of our evening meals. Sadly we all felt that the new building going up in front has blocked the main lake views.

This was a good property in a great location, unfortunately there were numerous lights not working and a lot of rubbish left around and under the couch. After we left the management company refused to pay our bond back claiming we left the place untidy and it required extensive cleaning on departure. We had already paid for a cleaner. They have been so unreasonable and it feels like they are trying to profit from these extra charges. Don’t use them - have heard of others in a similar situation.

I am surprised to hear that you found the house in any condition other than immaculate, as each house undergoes a thorough inspection prior to a new guest's arrival. If you had given us a call while you were in house we would have been happy to send our friendly guest services team over to take a look. In regards to the additional changes- we operate self catering holiday homes here at Goodstays and while each house has a uniform clean after each guest departure, if the house is left in a condition which requires additional cleaning time, this is deducted from the guest's bond. We feel that this a very fair system, as there are signs at each property advising the guest of what would constitute an additional charge and it is clear how to avoid this. This home had everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Clean, well-stocked with respect to bed linen, etc. Good heating and nice views. It is ~12 minutes walk to the supermarket, and a couple more minutes to cafes, etc. NB - construction is underway on a property next door which may obstruct views of the mountains over the lake.

The house was in an ideal location - 10 minute walk to town and park. The house was very clean, warm and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. Bring your own playing cards and games in case of wet weather.

Instructions on arrival were clear. Perfectly situated within walking distance of town, but in a quiet area. Lovely warm house. The house was was in perfect condition, very clean. User friendly kitchen and laundry. We would definitely recommend this property.
