Remarkables Retreat 1 is your perfect alpine getaway. With a tranquil outlook over the Lake Wakatipu and Frankton walking track, its location in the Remarkables Retreat hamlet is near the heart of town.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
Hovering above the waterfront of Lake Wakatipu, you will find this delightful apartment. Comfortable and convenient, this is the ideal lock up and go property – no unnecessary stress on your trip. With stunning vistas and access to nearby walking trails, this home is a real gem. Large group? We also manage other Remarkables Retreat properties – ask the Goodstays Reservations Team.

This jewel maximises space with an entire open plan upstairs with dining table, lounge and kitchen, all with the stunning backdrop of the lake and surrounding mountains. Its décor is clean and contemporary, with furnishings that hark back to the rangy, mountainous landscape outside. Cook your meals in the well-equipped kitchen and linger over your meal at the classic dining table. Spread out in the spacious lounge area and enjoy a DVD on the flat-screen television and free WIFI.

Wake up, step outside and walk around the lake (and around to the Marina for breakfast if you choose) on the Frankton walking track that runs right past Remarkables Retreat. There’s also outdoor furniture for soaking up the sun or pre-dinner drinks on the balcony.

Finding a park is easy with access to a private covered car parking spot, please note that an all wheel drive vehicle or 4WD vehicle is a must during the winter months to access the driveway.

Downstairs offers 4 bedrooms ideal for larger groups, or two families which including a master bedroom with a King bed and ensuite, a second bedroom with a Queen bed, a third bedroom with a double bunk plus single, as well as a super king bed that can also split into 2 singles, and lastly the fourth bedroom consists of 2 singles which can also be zipped together to make a king.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

PRIVACY ACT:
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.

You will have access to the entire home.

The Goodstays’ Guest Services department is available via phone or email throughout your stay, 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week, with a 24-hour emergency line.

Only a 5-minute drive into the centre of town, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of being out of the hustle and bustle but still close enough to take advantage of Queenstown’s legendary nightlife and world class restaurants.

As Queenstown is an alpine town, many of our properties have steep driveways. This home also has a single garage so you will need to be a competent driver particularly if you have an SUV/minivan/people mover.

Great location, right next to the lake with beautiful views. Easy check in and check out with clear instructions from the host. Some of the appliances needs maintenance but other than that the property was great!

The house is spacious .The only thing is we visited in summers and I felt that it was stuffy inside .We couldn’t keep the windows open at night as no screens and the mosquitos were coming . But the place is perfect for winters .It has beautiful view and all the amenities

Alot of NZ homes do not have central Air Conditioning, nor is it common practice to have screen on windows, unlike our sister country Australia where it is quite common. Queenstown homes in particular and set up more for the winter months as summer is relatively short lived in comparison.

House was a perfect base for our week in Queenstown. The drying room came in especially handy. Only one small thing I would change. We did have to take our rubbish offsite though as bins weren’t available. Thanks for having us!

The views from this home were stunning and there was plenty of space affording us ample comfort. We were a bit disappointed by the condition some of the furniture was in as well as the fact the dishwasher wasn't working very well and neither was the dryer. These were just minor inconveniences and we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Queenstown home!

We thoroughly loved our stay! It had everything we wanted for our family of 11! Communication from Nicholas was quick and excellent. The wall heaters in each room made the house very cosy and warm and definitely something to look forward to after a quick swim! We enjoyed ice baths each morning jumping of the wharf into the mighty lake wakatipu. We enjoyed the stunning views of the remarkables and it was very warm and cosy even when it snowed! Such STUNNING views from the house! Exactly what you see in the pictures! The location was perfectly close to town and activities nearby. We would definitely book with Nicholas and Emma again!

Great place. Some minor maintenance required for the price,. (some light bulbs not working and toilet seats broken). Great views and an easy stroll to Queenstown or Frankton.
