MULBERRY LANE COTTAGE A SUMMARY:
Recently renovated with double glazing, this charming alpine home has sweeping views from both the front and back decks. Sit back, relax and soak in the mountain and lake vistas from this classic kiwi holiday home.

LOCATION:
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, just minutes from downtown Wanaka, this 3 bedroom cottage has been built with strong Rimu features.

KITCHEN AND LIVING AREAS:
The kitchen and living areas are open plan, complete with a log burning fireplace - the perfect spot to warm up after a busy day on the slopes! The kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Holiday makers needs are fully met with, WIFI, dishwasher, and laundry facilities. Upstairs you can find an including an additional lounge area with a TV, DVD player as well as bean bags. Ideal for children or bigger kids wanting some additional space to chill out during their stay.

OUTDOOR AREAS:
Decks front and back provide ample room to enjoy the views and garden. Parking isn't an issue with plenty of private parking in the driveway.

BEDROOMS:
Accommodation for eight consists of two double bedrooms downstairs and a large spacious room upstairs. The bedding configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 3:2 Singles
Bedroom 4:2 Singles

RATES:
• Spring Off peak September 1st – December 20th
• Christmas/New Year tariff (5 night minimum stay) December 21st – January 5th
• Summer Peak (3 night minimum) January 6th – February 28th
• Autumn Off peak March 1st – June 30th (excluding events)
• Winter peak (5 night minimum stay) July 1st – August 31st
• Rates are a guide only & subject to change
• *Note special events and Christmas/New Years tariff subject to increased nightly rates and minimum stay
• Additional fees include pre-arrival inspection, house linens, towels and standard departure clean
• Please note that stays of 7+ nights may require mid-stay clean/linen change where additional charges may apply
• Prices are for up to 8 people. Additional beds & linen maybe available upon request – ask reservations
• Minimum age requirement 25 years or older for the leading group member (photo ID required)
• Bond $500

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

PRIVACY ACT
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.

Lovely quiet part of Wanaka. This property was great for 4 adults & 3 children. We stayed two weeks during a fairly hot spell in summer. The space upstairs for the kids was excellent (though hot in early evening), as was all the outdoors area. Everything we needed was there, & wifi was good. We’ll give separate feedback to Goodstays re issues with some maintenance of the property and their communications.

In Wanaka for winter skiing holiday. Fabulous house with lots of room for 8 people with 2 bathrooms! Fireplace (with wood provided) and heat pump meant house was always warm in winter. Views from house over snowy mountains fabulous with amazing sunsets. Could see snowcats working on Treble Cone ski fields at night. House had enough crockery, glasses etc for 8 people and 2 lounge space for adults and children to spread out. Information booklets on how to operate every item in the house were clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend.

A nice place to base ourselves while we explored Wanaka and surrounds. Not glam, but copy and perfect for two families with two downstairs rooms for the grown-ups and big upstairs loft for the kids (easily fit 6-8). Loved the log fire - it kept the place very cozy during chilly winter nights and was great to sit around with a glass of pinot. Went skiing, hiking, wine tasting, to the movies, out for dinner and visited puzzling world while in Wanaka.

#ENGLISH WILL FOLLOW FRENCH #

Belle propriété à l'écart du centre-ville, dans un quartier résidentiel, à 35 minutes de marche du centre-ville de Wanaka.

Tout était parfait à l'exception de deux choses: La gestion des déchets et l'absence d'une cafetière. Le gestionnaire nous a mentionné qu'il viendrait nous porter une cafetière, mais nous ne l'avons jamais reçue.

Quant à la gestion des déchets, celle-ci exige d'acheter des sacs spéciaux, à 3 $ chacun à l'épicerie et un seul sac est fourni pour la durée de votre séjour. Si vous ratez le jour de la collecte, vous devrez aller porter vous-mêmes les déchets et le recyclage à la déchetterie. Rien n’est clair sur le jour de collecte, quoi mettre où, le lieu de la déchetterie, etc. Les heures et jours d'ouvertures restreints ne coïncident pas non plus avec l'heure limite de départ. Option à considérer : payer un supplément de 22 $ pour faire gérer les déchets,.

Mais dans l'ensemble, outre ces petits inconvénients, c'est parfait.

##ENGLISH:

Very nice property, clean and good located away from downtown, located in a nice residential area, about 35 minutes walk from Wanaka downtown.

Two things: No coffeemaker (Manager told us he will provide, but we never received it finally) and rubbish management. For rubbish, there is an option to pay 22 $ if you do not want to manage it. Otherwise, you have to know that there is recycling and garbage, and it is not very clear what the rules for recycling and classification are (Collecting day, what to do, how to classify, where is central station, etc). Also, garbage use special bags (3$ each) and only one bag is provided for your stay. If you fail to bring recycling near the street the day when rubbish are collected, you will have to bring rubbish, including recycling, to central waste deposit, which hours do not fit with departure time limit.

We loved this house - very clean, well equipped, with character and a lovely outlook over trees to the mountains and hills. Lake view from the loft upstairs.
