MEADOWBROOK HAVEN PROPERTY SUMMARY:
Bathed in sunlight, this family friendly alpine home offers those glorious mountain views Wanaka is famous for. Only a stone's throw away to downtown, Meadowbrook Haven has everything you need for your Wanaka getaway.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
This home has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area on the ground floor, that opens out into an established courtyard with BBQ and outdoor seating. The master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite is also located on the ground floor with bi-fold doors that open out to a paved courtyard.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms upstairs have private balconies with mountain views. Furnished in simple elegance with style and class, this property is a delight. During summer, the bi-fold doors create a seamless indoor/outdoor flow and during the winter, the gas fire will keep you warm.

All beds are equipped with electric blankets. The bedding configuration is as follows:
Master Bedroom: 1 King (2 singles on request)
Bedroom 2: 1 King (2 singles on request)
Bedroom 3: 2 Singles (1 King on request)

LOCATION:
The home is situated in a central spot, only a scenic stroll to all the cafes and shops in town, and to the world-famous lakefront and the insta famous That Wanaka Tree.

RATES:
- Rates are a guide only and subject to change
- Note special events and Christmas/New Year’s tariff subject to increased nightly rates and minimum stay
- Additional fees include pre-arrival inspection, house linens, towels and standard departure clean
- Please note that stays of 7+ nights may require mid-stay clean/linen change where additional charges may apply
- Prices are for up to 6 people. Additional beds & linen maybe available upon request – ask reservations
- Minimum age requirement 25 years or older for the leading group member (photo ID required)
- Bond $500

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

PRIVACY ACT:
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.

Lovely house - very warm which was ideal for us visiting in winter!
The house is a little old and worn in places but it was very clean and tidy and the kitchen well equipped.
Would highly recommend it.

Family ski holiday. We found the accommodation comfortable for three children and myself, large enough to all have their own space. Given the current Covid scenario it was great to have a fun break away.

Management was great, the house is lovely and well placed. All good however future improvements may include free Wi-Fi, garage space and/or a better trash management system.. ( though we understand this is a town council issue not directly related to the property). We lived our time here and would stay here again.

We had a much needed girls weekend away, and apart from a miscommunication about WiFi at the property (I had pre paid but the modem wasn't delivered - it was offered to be dropped off as a special delivery but we were halfway through our trip so didn't worry) it was the perfect location with plenty of space and gorgeous sun drenched bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own evening meals.

While Wanaka is always a delight, this property lacked a few essentials and the management company was very unhelpful.
The kitchen was small and quite a few of the dishes could do with replacing. Not nice to have a cracked dish to use that looked like it was about to fall apart!
Charging $120 for 6 days of wifi is OUTRAGEOUS, as it the call out fee of $75 if you don't book it before you arrive (which they don't tell you)!!
Despite advising them on arrival that they hadn't provided a few of the promised essentials such as rubbish bags, it took 5 days and another phone call before anyone did something about it!
We will definitely be coming back to Wanaka, but I would have to think long and hard before using Goodstays again.

In terms of the dishes, we are more than happy to pass this feedback onto the owners, we also apologise that your phone call was not returned, I can assure you this is not standard practice here at Goodstays and am surprised to hear that this was your experience. In regards to the WIFI, while many of our properties do include WIFI and we encourage all of our owners to install internet, not all of them wish to include this. In these cases, we are more than happy to provide a WIFI router, which comes at an additional cost. Our guest services team do a pre arrival check at every property prior to the guest arriving, it is at this time that they would drop off the router and get it all set up, however if a guest does not decide until they are in house that they would like to purchase WIFI this is an additional trip out to the property for our busy team, thus there is a call out fee-which the guest is informed of prior to purchasing. We all thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the house each night after a days activity. It was warm, spacious and comfortable for all. Renting the spa pool was a plus.
The key lock box jamming was the main issue, so we used the side door key to access the property. Thank goodness it is safe crime free Wanaka.

The house was very clean with fresh linen and towels loved the clean bathrooms! Goodstays responded immediately to my request for a missing key to one of the doors by the bbq they were very helpful and friendly. The location was close enough to bike or walk to town and the lake. We would stay again ;)

House suited us perfectly, great location and well equipped. Easy walk to lake and play grounds. Nice balconies off the upstairs bedrooms and nice garden. House was very clean. Only complaint was that not all sinks had plugs, and the door off the dining room to the garden was not usable, so having a BBQ was awkward
