LAKE WANAKA LOOKOUT SUMMARY:
Only 2 minutes’ walk to town with spectacular views, this home is private, centrally located and north facing. Lake Wanaka Lookout has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area upstairs, which opens out to a sun-drenched balcony.
The interior of Lake Wanaka Lookout is elegant and alpine-inspired. Its high ceilings lend light and airiness to the ambience. The gourmet kitchen is styled in clean granite bench tops; perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the ground floor of this property is a large patio area, plus two super king bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom.
Recline on the balcony off the lounge for après drinks or a pre-dinner aperitif before heading out for dinner or a night on the town. Alpine landscaping and the scent of lavender surrounds the exterior. There is one parking space next to the apartment and further parking options should you have an additional car.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.

We stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is perfect for walking into town, yet far enough away to be quiet and enjoy a scenic view. Enjoy the deck for a coffee, beer or glass of wine with a spectacular view. Amenities were fine. We are avid cooks, so we found the supplies adequate, yet we went out and bought a sharp knife, blender and other minor kitchen items.

The property has great views, and is in a quiet location. Unfortunately the main bedroom doesn’t have curtains on all windows, so you are awake when the sun rises, and also a lack of privacy. The downstairs rooms smelt damp and musty. The registration process is clumsy, after booking the property through book a Bach, I was then redirected to register again with the good stays website. An app had to then be downloaded for detailed information on the property. A painful and clumsy process that is unnecessary. There was an issue with the hot water that the good stays staff responded to very quickly and were helpful.
