Beautiful house with stunning views. Great downhill stroll to Queenstown centre, but too steep to walk back. Easy enough to grab a taxi back up.

The view alone would be enough to give this place a 5star rating. The fireplace is so good for the colder days and evenings and the hot tube, which felt a bit exposed at first, is just an amazing place to sit and watch the sun set over Queenstown.

Wow. What a place. Spacious, comfortable, fantastic living area and terrace with the best view in Queenstown. Everything exactly as the pictures and very responsive host. Will return next time we are in Queenstown.

An absolutely magnificent place to stay, the photos don’t do it justice. It is breathtaking from the balcony, and the beds make it feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Highly recommend

We loved the property. We enjoyed many hours on the balcony enjoying the view and found the house had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a special treat. Would absolutely stay again if we returned to Queenstown.

Absolutely incredible views and would absolutely recommend staying here for anyone visiting Queenstown! Easy walk down the hill to town but definitely Uber back up! It's a hike!

The views were nice

Beautiful view over Queenstown, the lake, and the mountains. 20 minutes walk down steep hills (and no-sidewalk streets) into town but only a 5 minute Uber for under $10 NZD each so we mostly did that and it was fine. House was epic and spacious. Queenstown was great. Don't miss Milford Sound, Mt Cook, Wanaka, Hawea, Takepo...

The house really does live up to the pictures. Incredible view and lovely base for a week’s stay in Queenstown. We loved being close enough to walk into town but enjoyed the peace and tranquillity a little further out and gazing at that view. We got cabs/Ubers home as the walk up is pretty taxing, only around $8. Great communication from Nick top who helped out with recommendations and any issues we needed assistance with at the house.

Stunning house, stunning views, stunning location, would definitely stay again. Be sure to bring your own basic toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc), and note that you'll be expected to cart your recyclables to the (free) recycling depot near the airport or pay for a removal service.

Amazing stay

Great stay at this property. The house is perfect for a small group or family. The spa truely has one of the best views in all of Queenstown. Had a car and would defiantly recommend it if you’re considering this property. The walk down is fine, walk up is difficult. That said only 15-20 bucks in a taxi after dinner, and for the view, it’s worth every cent. House was clean and had everything you needed and check in / out was easy. Would stay again.

Great view and lovely home, however- whilst close to the city- this would not be an easy or very achievable walk... highly recommend having a car! Spa has a great view though was VERY overdue for a deep clean and smelt foul with bits of sediment Good heating and large spa bath indoors, though hot water runs out if too many people have showers at a similar time No extras provided (soap, shower gel, milk, tea, etc) so come prepared. Great responsiveness from the host

The place is awesome! Very spacious and comfortable. The view is better than expected and worth every turn on the short steep hill down to town. Easy to find and get in and check out. A really gorgeous place that we recommend.

Had some problems getting my deposit/bond refunded. Technical issues Goodstay’s systems, and my credit card and bank. My bank was able to work with Visa to get my funds returned to me so it worked out in the end.

This is a fabulous House and the view is incredible we had a marvelous stay after a few problems were resolved. We stayed 34 days from January 7 to February 9th. 2019. We are real-estate professionals renting apartments and resort properties in California plus we have rented homes at various locations around the world for a month or more. The house had a few problems in our view that should have been taken care of before we arrived. The lower dishwasher did not work, the doors to the patio were hard to open, and the BBQ gas cylinder was empty, lasted 15 minutes on Saturday night, the umbrella on the patio did not fit in the stand provided and the second bath shower glass shelf was missing. There was only one hair dryer and the plastic fitting around the cord was broken, there were only 3 small water glasses and no teaspoons. We purchased two hair driers, 2 set of glasses tall & small, and plastic spoons. The management was very responsive and resolved the problems forthwith. Thereafter I would recommend this property to friends and would rent it again, you will love it, we rate it 4.5.

Lake Panorama Villa - Enormous property with wonderful lake and mountain views. It made our Queenstown visit so memorable catching the New Years Eve fireworks from the balcony. It's a great 15-20 min walk downtown and kept our guilt level down after eating the donuts at Balls and Bangles knowing we would be working half the calories off walking back up the hill. All our adventures were awesome -Skippers Canyon Jet boat, Tss Earnslaw, IFLY indoor skydiving, brunch at The Pier. Too windy to paraglide or fly to Milford Sound so will have to return again someday.

Was a great venue with a great view. The fireplace was awesome and the heated bathroom was great!

Loved the location and the place, and the views are amazing. Booking and communication was also easy and fast. Some minor improvements needed on amenities. Hot water seems to run out sometimes in the bathrooms, one of the rubber stoppers seem to be leaking, and lights on entry will trigger the switch box to shut off. BBQ area could do with a little more lighting as well.

The house was easy to find and very spacious inside. The views are stunning from this location. You can walk into town easily, but would recommended a taxi back as it's a steep climb!

Had a family trip to Queenstown. It is a lovely place to stay. with the amazing Wakatipu views. Fully equipped. Comfortable beds. Will be back. Just one thing to complain: no shampoos or body wash was provided. You should provide these in case someone forgot to bring, at least for the first night. Thanks

We had a great stay at this property. Beautiful deck with wonderful views. Well equipped and stocked property. If you do not have a vehicle the walk back to the rental may be challenging. Short walk downhill to downtown shops, etc. Would definitely rent this property again if back in Queenstown. Very easy dealing with property management.

A beautifully appointed villa with a view that you won;t believe. This really is a case of the reality being better than any photos. The house is very spacious, clean and well appointed, and the views are incredible.

The property was amazing, neat, equipped with all amenities and located 1 km from town center. Although our stay was ruined due to bed bugs. Initially my sister complained, but over the days we all got horrible bug bites, 5-7 on each leg and few on arms. This made our stay experience horrible and we couldnt enjoy the property as much as we would like to. Please dont take me wrong, the property is good except for this problem I mentioned . Hope fellow travellers are able to enjoy for what this beautiful property has to offer

Beautiful views and lovely apartment up on the hill overlooking Queenstown. A good place for families to stay, although not in walking distance to the town as you will need a car to get up and down the hill.

Very beautiful home with all the amenities you could hope for. Very nice to sit by the fireplace at night after a long day out. Goodstays staff are very friendly and reliable when I had questions before and during our stay

We had a great stay and our only complaint was the difficulty of operating the TV and lack of channel options. Also, we thought the directions for departure were rather strict and threatening, We always try to leave a property in good condition but threats of fines if the grill is not properly cleaned or the TV is not properly turned off are a bit extreme. We appreciate instructions for leaving the property but not threats of extreme fines.

Stayed here with wife and daughter for Christmas and New Years. House was much bigger than our requirements but had a good location. Price surcharge for peak season was double which didn't go unnoticed! Nevertheless, property was in a great condition and the huge deck is great for barbecueing with great sweeping views of Queenstown and the lake. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and very comfortable. Wifi only worked in the living area and not the downstairs bedroom. Property is quite high up the hill so would recommend driving to/from town.

We enjoyed our stay! But I do have a few suggestions; the garbage was a problem. There needs to be proper recepical to store the rubbish. A bag on the kitchen or garage floor is unacceptable. Also the amount of garbage is very limiting. The floors were not thoroughly vaccuumed, more attention should be given to that. I found a tissue on the floor by our bed, that kind of thing grosses me out.

Fabulous place-
Larger than expected- and most everything in very good condition.
Everything was clean, and the place is well equipped. The doors to the outside deck need some servicing- they are very hard to open.
We may never make it back to Queenstown, however if we do this is the place we want to stay.

Extremely comfortable and well maintained property - most comfortable beds ever experienced in a vacation rental. Lovely views and good central location. Well equipped kitchen with the notable exception of a veggie peeler! We had 3 generations staying in the house and everyone felt they had enough space. Would highly recommend.
