Families or small groups will love the comfort, alpine ambience and convenience of Earnslaw Central Views A, located on the lower slopes of Queenstown Hill. The charming alpine feel of this apartment is complimented by the stunning mountain views – best utilised from the sun-drenched balcony.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
This home has a comfortable alpine feel with the convenience of modern amenities, all you need for a relaxing getaway. Travelling in a large group? We also manage the apartment next door – ask Reservations!

The kitchen and living areas converge in an open plan design with an elevated ceiling to maximise space and light. It provides a warm and homely feel – the ideal place to relax with a hot chocolate after a long day skiing or a glass of wine after a long hike. The apartment has a modest balcony from which you can take in the striking lake and mountain views. Parking is not an issue either, as the property has a double garage with internal access and space for off-street parking.

This delightful home is only a 3-minute drive or 20-minute scenic stroll into central Queenstown. close enough to enjoy Queenstown’s nightlife but far enough away to still be peaceful! Nearby you can find Queenstown’s conference venues such as the Millennium and Copthorne, restaurants, bars, lakefront and adventure tours, as well as the beautiful Queenstown Gardens.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

Very good property for skiing holidays. It has large driveway to park your car and garage to store all your skiing gear. It also help to have dryer in the laundry if you get back wet. View on the lake from living room. I recommend this property and we would gladly cone back next year.

great except for the beds, both of us went home very tired from no sleep. Not ideal for a holiday when we work in a highly stressful job!

Good house, warm, very tidy and clean and the check in and check out process was very easy. There is a fairly decent selection of pots and pans and cooking implements to use when cooking, although an oven mitt would be very useful.

We loved staying in this rental. It was so homely and a nice place to come back to after a busy day out and about! Only feedback would be that we did run out of fire wood after a couple of days and then it snowed so more fire wood would have been much appreciated.

This chalet style apartment has a stunning view, close to town, lovely open fire for winter ambiance, warm and spacious. We all enjoyed our stay and would come back again 4 adults 2 children, only downfall was on the first night we ran half a bath for the kids but there wasn't enough hot water for 4 short showers as well. We all only used the shower from then on and no problems but the kids were disappointed they couldn't use the bath again.

Home is comfortable. Walk to town center is definitely doable, a small hill coming back. Nice view of lake from balcony. Master bedroom does have a few stairs to get to bathroom area - this is a duplex and you can hear neighbors, through wall. Not too bad for us, however I suppose depends on who is staying next door.

When we arrive the power was out and we had not been notified I had to ring to see what was wrong. Only had enough cutlery for 3 guest we were a party of 6. It was a very hot weekend I would suggest that the owners put in air con or good fans as very hot and uncomfortable upstairs. Out side furniture could be a little more comfortable ie cushions on chairs.think we left it cleaner then we found it. Otherwise nice place with great views and management were good.

Overall, we were disappointed with this property and if it was our only experience with Goodstays, we probably would not use the company again. The property is tired and needs refurbishment. There was insufficient cutlery, crockery for six of us. There were five mugs with one having a broken handle. There were three forks and five teaspoons. The twin bed covers were stained and these were covered with sheets to hide the stains. There were nail clippings on the floor of this bedroom and the door doesn't stay closed. The bathroom does not have a lock which is rather inconvenient when sharing with friends.
We also rented another property nearby from Goodstays which was far superior and quite similar in price, so I don't believe that Earnslaw is good value for money. It's in a very good location but needs upgrading urgently.

Having spent 3 weeks in a motor home & various small motel rooms it was lovely to spend a week in the spacious Earnslaw apartment. The views were better than I had hoped, the heaters worked well and the wood fire was appreciated at the end of a day skiing.
The location was a little far to walk to the town centre in winter and the traffic & parking issues of Queenstown made it a pain to drive in by car. But in summer it would be a pleasant walk for those fit enough to hike up the hill. And it would not stop me from staying here again.

We enjoyed our 6 day stay at Earnslaw Central Views A in Queenstown. The townhouse was clean, well equipped and the right size for our family.The beds were very comfortable. The open fireplace in the main living area supplemented the on wall heater well and there was plenty of other heating throughout the house which was needed as it got very cold during our stay.
The views from the front across Lake Wakatipu to the mountains beyond were excellent.
The walk into town is 20-25 minutes with a couple of hills to negotiate. One improvement we could suggest is that Wifi be provided - our kids were lost without it :)

Wonderful spot - close to town, close to main highway but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. Great views on patio deck. Everything worked well. Garage was nice to have on rainy days. Spare adapters with iphone charger was a plus. Goodstays app worked well. We had only a minor problem and the response was immediate! Suggestion would be to add instructions for how to operate stovetop and oven (had very detailed info on all other items). We would definitely stay here again and use Goodstays for other places as well. Thank you!

I was very pleased with the home we rented for Christmas in Queenstown. It was just a short drive from the downtown area of Queenstown. We were a little disappointed that this property did not have wifi, (since we were traveling from overseas, we needed wifi). Plenty of room for our party of 5 to spread out, and I would happily stay here again.

Super easy bookings, prompt, professional and quick service upon requests.
BBQ could do with an upgrade not large enough for a full house.
Having WiFi available at the property would also be a benefit for international travelers.

The house was comfortable and warm and well set up overall, just a few minor complaints, shame the ensuite doesn't have a toilet, needs a recycle bin, the bed in the master bedroom suffers a little roll together, other beds good. Boat parking was a little difficult, window in single bedroom doesn't close which was an issue in the big winds. Overall a good quality property in a great location.

Can't fault this place at all. From the simple booking process to the chopped firewood and fresh towels ready for us on arrival and the ease of checking in/out, it was perfect. It's about a 20 minute walk to Queenstown and for those skiing, the bus stop is at the main road 5-10 minutes away. If not driving, you might require a taxi to get a big grocery shop home but otherwise perfectly convenient for a stay in Queenstown. The view from the balcony of The Remarkables over Lake Waitaki every morning is incredible. Highly recommended.

This is a large comfortable house but despite the description, does not have an ensuite bathroom - it has a shower room ensuite with a separate loo down some stairs. A problem with one of the beds was quickly sorted by the property management company. It was useful to be able to put a car in the garage as we had two cars to park.

We had 5 adults and a baby stay for a week in july. The location was fantastic only about a 10min walk to town the veiws were amazing every where u looked felt like a post card. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location - just outside the center of Queenstown with a stunning view. Being the first Snow vacation the kids had experienced the fireplace was a hit (roasting marshmallows every night). Short drive (30 min or so) to Coronet Peak & the Remarkables with Cardrona approx 1 hour away

We were blown away by how fantastic this house was. Everything we needed to be completely comfortable during our stay. It definitely was a home away from home. It was less than a 5 minute drive into the town centre, even at busy traffic times. The views were simply spectacular. So easy to lose time as you spend so much of it looking at the mountains! Our only gripe was the double bed - needs to be updated. We will definitely be back.

Lovely spot 5 minutes walk from millennium. Compact deck and minimal autumn sun made up for by lovely open fire and spa bath in upstairs bath. Bathrooms a bit tired but furnishings lovely. Not ideal for little kids or those who aren't good with stairs. Perfect for our family group. Good kitchen. I could live in it happily.

We never got to stay at Earnslaw Terrace as it was occupied when we arrived. We were re-directed to an alternative but that was also occupied!
We were finally sent to 24 Suburb Street which is an excellent property, but the experience was a worry for a while. Progessional?
