Stunning, panoramic views over Lake Wanaka to the surrounding mountains including Treble Cone, are visible from almost every part of this modern 3-bedroom, two storey home situated just opposite the lakeside. A spacious, gourmet kitchen with view flows conveniently onto the dining and living area with peak ceilings to echo the surrounding mountains and maximise light and space.

The large grounds of over 3000m2 offer privacy and plenty of space outside for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. As if this wasn’t enough outdoor space, a balcony and separate deck/BBQ area are accessed from the living area. The home comes with a CD player, DVD player and a flat screen in the lounge, so whether you want to listen to your favourite band or watch your favourite movie, we’ve got you covered.

My experience was ordinary at best. Service from Goodstays was regrettable, the house was basic but well fitted, its design is poor and location well too far from the mainstrip of wanaka for my liking.

It is unfortunate to hear that you found this beautiful property not to your liking. We have managed Briar Bank Drive for many years now and have found that most of our guests love the panoramic mountain and lake views and the serenity of being just that little bit out of central Wanaka (which is clearly stated on the listing.) While we manage many properties which are in the heart of Wanaka, this is not one of them. In the future I suggest you do further research into the area in which you are holidaying. Staying in a house is the best way to holiday and this house was great. There is lots to do in the Wanaka area. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing views. Lovley quiet location. Short drive to town. Accommadated 4 adults and 2 children very comfortably for a weeks stay. Only down side is we stayed in summer and the house faces west. In the afternoon to late evening the sun streams in the lounge, dining, kitchen and upstairs bedroom making it very hot and glary. No blinds to block the heat and glare out and no way of cooling. Would suggest some blinds and perhaps some sort of cooling eg air conditioning or fans.

But cooling on hot summer days is very effective as the house is cleverly designed to circulate air up through the two atriums by opening the electrically operated windows high up on the west facing glazing and by opening the upstairs bedroom and bathroom skylights per guidance in the house notes.
