Location: best of both worlds, central to downtown but also quiet and private with panoramic mountain/lake views. To access Queenstown’s long list of places to see and things to do, simply drop down onto the main arterial route Frankton Road and head from there.

Interior: spacious and contemporary, with the flexibility and added accommodation of a separate two bedroom apartment (boasts full kitchen and great amenities, including a private deck with outdoor furniture).

Features include three open fires: in the main house, apartment and outside on the decking of the main house. There’s also an outside spa (hot tub) for soaking away a day on the slopes and plenty of outdoor furniture for alfresco fun over the summer months.

Amenities: add a laundry, outside washing line (off laundry) and heat pump to the extensive list.

Parking (main house): well catered for with a double garage. A ski locker is also located in the garage.

Parking (apartment): off street car space located on forecourt.

• Christmas/New Year tariff (5 night minimum stay) December 21st – January 5th

• Winter peak (5 night minimum stay) July 1st – August 31st

Had a great time, with 15 folk over for a week to celebrate nanny’s 80th. The house generally functioned well, catered for all 15 bods, and was comfy and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. And of course the views are spectacular. The large deck on the northern side is a fabulous place to view the lake and mountains while chatting with friends and rellies.
Goodstays staff were helpful and responsive.
Deficiencies were matters such as great the need to have free to air TV set up, a number of broken item need repairs (email sent to Goodstays with a list), and a light above the stove is needed. A few more garbage bags would help too.
I would happily recommend the house for a holiday for large groups.

We stayed here with 12 people, not once did we feel like we were on top of one another. The weather was amazing during our stay, super sunny and very hot. I would suggest having an outdoor umbrella available as not all our guests could enjoy the area for too long. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The staff at Goodstays were keen to get our booking and followed up with me a couple of times before I was at the point of booking to provide any information that I may have needed, we were a group of 12 on a golf tour so limited on the size oif property available, Winnies was ideal not only from the location but also the facilities, we loved the movie/tv room. Overall Goodstays were excellent to deal with and provided good communication before and after our stay and even provided an app so we could source any information we may need regarding the property. I would definitely use this company and possibly this house again.

The property was exactly as described it was comfortable, clean, well maintained and suited our group of ten. The views from the house were spectacular. I would not hesitate to book the property again, and would recommend it to all my friends.
We found that being centrally located made it easy to get around with Queenstown's CBD only a 15 minute walk.

Amazing location, great sized rooms, perfect for a large group!! Enough space for yourself but lots of common areas to socialise as a group. Had a fantastic and faultless time here!!

This place was worth the money. Very tidy house and close to central city. I would prefer to go back here for my future holidays in queenstown. Amazing view.

Great stay for our extended family. Incredible view in a house with lots of space and the hot tub was an added bonus. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. Nice and close to Queenstown town centre and Frankton. Not sure we'll need a place this big in Queenstown again but if we did, we would definitely come again.

The location of the house is excellent, good value. Wonderful panorama scenery. Good and adequate facility for our group. Very close to downtown where we could book our activities. Our group have enjoyed staying in this house. :))))))

It was a very spacious house, all 14 of us seemed to still have our own space..
There was however a few issues such as the hot water. It ran out several times throughout the day.
We also had no access to the BBQ until someone came to check the meter and let us in. The has had also been left on which is quite dangerous.
Also it was very dark up the stairs to the apartment and one of our guests fell twice and hurt herself.
Overall we had a great stay and were very happy with the house

We have contacted the owners regarding the lighting matter you've raised. Nick the reservations manager and Glen the property manager were very professional and helpful - thanks guys. The holiday home itself was clean and very tidy including the studio. We were very impressed with the crisp, clean linen including towels. Well-equipped pantry/kitchen – however it would be useful to upgrade the microwave. The views from the large deck were great. The only negative aspect was the sporadic behaviour of the Wi-Fi. It is a wonderful holiday home for a large family/group. The bed rooms, toilets, lounge and deck are quite large and adds to the overall comfort.
Hope to back sometime next year!

We recently had a fantastic week staying with a group of us at Winnie's Rest. The property is beautiful and lends itself to lazy dinners as a group on the deck. Excellent facilities and a convenient location so long as you have some wheels, its a bit of a hike back from town, but a cheap taxi if everyone has had a couple of drinks. A highly recommended place to stay

Loved the house, location, views were superb. House worked well for the 9 people in the house and if you had 14 it would go well too. Media Room a big hit by us all. Spa was used as well. Everyone staying all enjoyed the place
