Another 10/10 for GOODSTAYS Accommodation, perfect location only 400m flat walk to town, perfect views over the lake and all the top line amenities in the units. With cool temps the place was ideal to come home with perfect temps and the added benefit of open gas fire which was great. With 5 of us staying (3 adults + 2 children) plenty of space including 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to match. Perfect for family holiday and added benefit of close flat walk to town. 10/10 for this place

Great location, warm inviting accommodation with amenities to match. A 10 day stay was worth it, flat walk to town, all attractions still walkable and a great apartment. Warm inviting apartment with a great gas fire to enhance the holiday. Will be recommending this to all and apart from a couple of days visiting out of town attractions you can leave the car at home and walk to all attractions in Queenstown with too much stress and strain.

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The apartment was clean with three separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a large kitchen/living/dining area. We especially enjoyed the extraordinary views of the lake and mountains from the two balconies. The property is about 10 min walk from the town center and in a great location for walking/running around the lake. It is directly next to the Rydges Hotel, which was where our conference took place - very convenient for us. The rooms were warm and we enjoyed the fireplace as well.
There is an option to buy breakfast (buffet), but with $28 pP it is on the expensive side and you may be better off going into town or preparing your own breakfast in the well-equiped kitchen.

Chaque chambre dispose d une salle de bain. L appartement est tres spacieux, et tres confortable. Il offre une tres belle vue sur le lac.
On accede au parking par la brunswick street et au lac par espalanade road en traversant le bloc de l immeuble du bas. A 5mn a pie du centre ville.

Wonderfully cosy, fully equipped apartment. Heating was awesome, kitchen & untensils quality, large couch the whole family can snuggle on, big screen, views! The views!! A very nice apartment with all you could wish for with the benefit of spectacular views of the lake and mountains. Set back from the road with little traffic noise and just a 10 minute walk to the centre. Plenty of parking in the garage accessed from the road behind plus some parking in tight spaces at the front. The TV was terrible however with a poor picture and some channels unobtainable. WiFi was good.

Everything about our rental experience was excellent. After my initial enquiry about several properties I had a personal phone call from the management team who assisted in deciding which of the properties available best suited our needs. Once booked the information to access the app with all instructions required from location and key access to garbage disposal was received and it could not have been easier. The accomodation was spotless, in great condition and a fantastic location. For our family of five it was almost too spacious! We are returning to Queenstown in March with a group of three couples and it will be a perfect place to stay again with the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms.

We love Peppers Beacon Point in Queenstown and this is the first time we booked through Goodstays. It was much cheaper than booking through Peppers. It doesn't matter what season you go, there is soo much to do.

We stayed in apartment 910 and the adjoining apartment 909 for 5 days mid January 2017. Our party was a family of four adults and we wanted a quiet, clean and well appointed apartment with 3 bedrooms close to the centre of town. These two apartments fitted the bill perfectly. Wifi is included, however we didn't discover this until we were leaving (the info was in the app). We would thoroughly recommend it.

Great location, just a short stroll to town along the picturesque lakefront. Communications with GoodStays was good and booking and check in was easy as we are self sufficient and well versed in holiday rental accommodation. Apartment was nice, comfy lounge, great fire, good oven and BBQ. It was basically appointed and a few of the usual provisions were lacking. Having said that, we self catered dinner for 4 of our 7 nights and having the BBQ was perfect. My feedback on the negative side is that the towels provided have seen their day and really should be renewed. It would be nice to have a cake of soap in the shower as well as hand basin and given we were staying 7 nights, I'm sure a spare could be provided. Kitchen wise, again knowing there was 5 of us staying for 7 nights, having 7 dishwasher tablets would have been useful, we really didn't want to have to buy a whole box as we were travelling internationally. Providing basics such as a small selection of tea and coffee would be a nice touch. Oh, and what's with providing a two slice toaster in an apartment that sleeps 6! Perhaps a pack of cleaning wipes in the kitchen wouldn't go astray either. All quite simple stuff but it does detract from the overall experience. We had a lovely visit and would book through GoodStays again.

Spent 5 nights in this great apartment with my husband and 4 friends. The 3 bathroom and 3 bedrooms just right for us. The location was great as we walked to the town centre everyday, and did not have to worry about hills. When we were not in town at one of the restaurants we were enjoying a wine in front of the gas log fire. The view is spectacular with some sort of waters sports happening on the lake all through the day. We were all very impressed with the apartment and would stay there again.

This property has a wonderful view of the lake from the spacious deck and from inside the apartment. It is a short walk to downtown Queenstown and all the restaurants and shopping as well as adventure vendors. The directions to find the property were easy to follow and the full kitchen was nice, but we did more dining out than eating in. Next time I will fire up the BBQ on the deck.

we had a wonderful stay at this apartment...the location, layout, VIEW and amenities were outstanding! the only complaint we would have is that the fitness center and breakfast were unavailable to us during our stay. for the amount spent, I would think it easy enough to include those two items for the convenience of the renters....But overall, a wonderful time at a beautiful location....many thanks!

We had 10 day stay over the New Year with my husband and 4 adult children. We chose this apartment as it was so close to the city centre and we could walk everywhere. The apartment could be accessed from the back road entrance and had undercover parking. The views were spectacular, the lounge/dining area/kitchen was spacious. We did most of our own catering, the kitchen utensils were adequate, though a larger saucepan would have been appreciated.The first 2 bedrooms had their own ensuites and the 3rd bedroom was more like a hotel room with its own sitting room and bathroom. It was perfect for our vacation. Note we had wifi, but it was a bit expensive and there was only free to air TV for the 3 TV's in the apartment. However the weather was fantastic and we spent most of our time either enjoying the balcony and views, walking along the lake or enjoying the adventure activities. The NYE fireworks were a highlight viewed from the met all my expectations.

Upon arrival our apartment hadn't been serviced. Miss communication between Goodstays and the on-site manager, disappointed that we become caught up in the situation. Amazing location and very comfortable accommodation. The view was stunning to wake up to each morning - looking across the lake to the Remarkables. The apartment itself was well appointed, and catered well for us as we had my wife and I, our 12 month old and some grandparents. Plenty of kitchen utensils/supplies and we ate in for some of the 10 days we stayed. On the last day I called for a late checkout to allow for our babies sleep and they were very accommodating. There was some confusion with key access to the apartment, as it's not managed by Pepper's the hotel they were reluctant to cut swipe cards when they weren't working, and we couldn't use facilities like gym/breakfast room which was unexpected. Generally it was quiet (a few footsteps late at night), and we would have appreciated some instructions on climate control, a bit more cleaning product given our 10 day stay, but overall very happy and would definitely book again.

The gym is used by the hotel not the private apartments and we do not advertise this facility. I have asked the property manager to increase the amount of cleaning products and reprint the instructions for the apartment for guests to read through. Have stayed Queenstown many times but this is simply the best location with the best views. All other places stayed involved lots of hilly walking but this is a FLAT 7 min walk into Mall. Huge apartment, very comfortable beds and superb decor. Would thoroughly recommend. Had huge problems with keys. Either would not swipe reception door to give us after hour access or would not open our apartment. Reception couldn't really help as unit 'privately owned'. No instructions given anywhere on how to use fireplace. Was very cold New Years Eve, wet and snowed on the Remarkables so would've been nice to have the fire burning. Would certainly stay again.

Property is conveniently located, reasonably well fitted out. The view was fantastic. Things worked.Overall, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We did not have any major issues. The toilet seat in one of the bedrooms was broken. It could have been fixed before we moved in. The remote control for TV in one of the bedrooms was not functioning.

The view from the deck of the apartment is just like the picture. It is beautiful! The apartment is located about 3 blocks from Queenstown center so walking to dinner or shopping is very convenient.
The apartment was not, however, equipped to the standards of a first class rental. For example, there was a coffee machine that only worked with specific sized pods of coffee. There was no store in Queenstown that sold that size pods. We contacted the rental agents to request another style coffee maker and never heard a reply. The bath soap furnished was tiny and not adequate for a five day stay. Also, Wifi was not included in the rental. We had to purchase service through an outside carrier. These are little issues but to truly be a world class rental they should be addressed.

The Waterfront Apartment at The Beacon was the perfect base for our grown-up family of five's ski week. Just a quick walk to all the wonders of downtown Queenstown yet the apartment was quiet, cozy and comfortable with it's lovely gas fire. The magnificent view down the lake and up to The Remarkables was a bit difficult to leave each day and the outdoor area perfect for soaking it up if only there was time. Ski shuttle services to and from Rydges next door makes mountain transfers simple. This apartment is certainly clean and spacious with the luxury feel expected given the price. We found the kitchen, however, a bit limited in cooking equipment, and had to shop for some basic items like a baking tin. Some basic condiments would have been welcoming too, especially for fly-ins like us. Maybe even just some salt and pepper. The Goodstays management staff were prompt and helpful when we needed a bit of help with a swipe key issue. Thoroughly recommended. Oh, and if the queues are ridiculous at the usual, famous and overrated burger place in town, head down to Devil Burger in Church Street - fantastic!

Waterfront Apartment at the Beacon Queenstown is a great place to stay! Lovely lake and mountain views from the large balcony and a few minutes flat walk along the lake front into Queenstown for shopping and restaurants. Very spacious apartment with 3 good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was sparkling clean and in good condition. Quiet location. Would definately stay there again!

Fabulous place to stay. Amazing views and a very spacious apartment to stay with a group of friends. Easy walk to centre of Queenstown and far enough away from main road not to hear any street or party noise. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Only negatives is that there appeared to be a problem with one of the bathrooms (sewerage smell) and an issue with mice in the kitchen. This was reported on the sheet left by the property management, if these issues are addressed couldn't recommend this property highly enough.

We spent 3 nights here including Chinese New Year. Totally it is good choice.

Great view and position. reach the business by 5 minutes' walk.

The clean needs improve, some dirty on sofa, and the patio need clean job immediately! Curtain and sliding door in living room can't work when we arriving, as well as the swipe card for elevator and car park.
