LOCATION:
Merely a 5 minute drive out of the centre of Wanaka you will find Manuka Magic, situated on the highest point of Manuka Crescent, offering one of the most spectacular views in Wanaka. Sit back and bask in the all day sun while taking in views of Lake Wanaka, Treble Cone, Mt Gold, Cardrona Valley and much more.

KITCHEN AND LIVING AREAS:
With 2 lounge rooms; each with their own fireplace, a large kitchen and spacious lawn this makes for a perfect family holiday home with plenty of space for everyone. This property is perfect for both summer and winter holidays. With its amazing indoor/outdoor flow in the summer, and in Winter the 2 fireplaces, cosy couches and electric blankets will keep you warm after a day on the slopes.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

We had a family group staying for three nights - 6 adults, one baby - and the house worked out extremely well. Very spacious, comfortable and walking distance to the town centre, Eely Point etc.
The other couples were delighted to find the house was even better than it had looked in the website both in spaciousness and in the lovely garden setting.
The only negative comment is that the shower pressure in the upstairs bathroom is not great.
Apart from that, I'd recommend the place to any large family or group looking for a great place to stay in Wanaka.

Lovely warm & comfortable home with stunning views. Loved every minute of my stay there & want to move back there to live - tomorrow! Gorgeous garden too. [Only bit of advise is to have more drawer [& suitcase]space downstairs bed 1 & perhaps an update on downstairs twin en-suite.]

Goodstays Wanaka, are a very professional, obliging company to deal with, assisting almost immediately with all enquiries regarding the property.
The house was as described, well set up, clean and well presented. In winter the log burner in the living room/kitchen was great and the owner generous with fuel. We were very warm throughout our stay.
The beds were very comfortable with good quality linen.
We inadvertently left a couple of items behind, Goodstays retrieved them immediately and made them available for pick up at their office by a relative. Sincere thanks.
We have one negative issue; the cost of the internet connection for the period! It is outrageous however, grudgingly, we purchased, however it left us feeling we were being "had".
We would use Goodstays again, however suggest they review their internet supplier and charges to avoid the negative attitudes to them,that the ridiculous costs engender.

Large house with lots of space. The beds were extremely soft, you'll wake up with a sore back. The back of the toilet doors were dusty. The upstairs toilet flush was not working properly. The management was very impersonal, and extremely stingy with their toilet paper. Overall, I wouldn't recommend based on the present management style.

Here at Goodstays we operate self catering holiday homes for those who want to experience Queenstown or Wanaka like a local. While we do provide a few essentials such as dishwashing liquid, several rubbish bags and toilet rolls, everything outside of this needs to be provided by the guest themselves. Having said this, each property usually have some extra items left by previous guests which you are more than welcome to use. In regards to the toilet flush and dust, had you given us a call while you were in house we would have been more than happy to send someone from our guest services team over to resolve these issues. We enjoyed the spacious Manuka Magic holiday home as we celebrated a family wedding in the area. The staff was extremely responsive to any inquiries we had and the home was very well appointed. I highly recommend this destination and the services of Goodstays Wanaka... we hope to visit again soon.

Great property, well kept and great for a big group, enough space for everyone. Only a 10-15mins stroll to town, mins in the car and handy to everything. Nice and peaceful area. Couldn't fault it, we'll be back. thank you.

Great location. Exactly as pictures depict. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of firewood for the cold nights. Great to have two lounge areas. Thank you to the owners for all the little things like books, games, puzzles, dvds etc.

We had a fabulous winter holiday with another family of 4 and the house easily coped with 8 people. Warm cosy fireplace with plenty of wood supplied keeps the whole place adequately toasty. Wanaka is a great place for winter outdoor activities for both non skiers and those enjoying the nearby ski slopes. Beautiful views, gardens and surrounds about the home. House amenities & bedding excellent. Township 2.1km walk away. Goodstays were attentive and mostly receptive to anything we enquired about. Would definitely come back.

Our family, 6 adults, 2 toddlers, loved our time in Manuka Magic. Such a spacious and relaxing house. Beautiful gardens and everything you could want inside to enjoy as a base for exploring the Wanaka area. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and the toys available for the grandchildren.
